Publishing from your PhD

I recently sent off a manuscript to Gower for a book I've completed entitled, 'Publishing from your PhD: Negotiating a Crowded Jungle'. ETA is September 2010.

It is a compliment to Abby Day's 'How to Get Research Published in Journals' (Gower 2008).

I use the jungle as a metaphor to explain how difficult it is to find your way and make sense of what is happening within the jungle. My experience and numerous Professors' experiences are shared to describe their journeys of navigation.

It will be helpful to early career researchers, those just starting out in academia, those who have just finished or submitted their PhD, and those who are within their PhD candidature.
